CDC: No large gatherings for 8 weeks

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

The CDC issued new guidance recommending against gatherings of 50 or more people "for the next eight weeks," saying those who have already planned events with that many people should cancel or postpone.

"This recommendation is made to reduce introduction of the virus into new communities and to slow the spread of infection in communities already affected by the virus," The guidance notes". Events of any size should stress to protect vulnerable populations through hand hygiene and social distancing.

WESTFEST 2020 Celebration is 14 weeks away so our planning will continue

Westfest will follow the recommendations of the CDC, State and City leaders.  If anything changes in the coming weeks, we will update that information.

CDC: Events of any size should stress protect vulnerable populations through hand hygiene.

During Westfest extra precautions will be taken by adding additional hand washing stations throughout the venue. We will also ask each vendor to use hand sanitizer as an added precaution.

The Carnival will be taking extra precautions per industry recommendations.

We hope this will be a great opportunity to reconnect with the community!
